Compliance Analyst

SOX Compliance Analyst/Internal Auditor   The Compliance Analyst will be responsible for the coordination of efforts to meet and maintain acceptable performance levels in regards to internal controls, Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and other compliance matters for the Monster organization.  The position will be based out of the Monster Milwaukee Shared Service division, but will provide SOX support to other Monster offices.   Essential Functions: Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance Conduct internal audits of all business units within Monster Delegate audit issues to the appropriate manager for follow up Verify issue resolution Continually evaluate new processes and add additional items to the audit review process Maintain SO Comply software – verify users have cleared issues and updated processes. Develop workflow/process flow for SO Comply Create and maintain the Monster Solutions Center Accounting procedure manual. Develop Audit procedures on detailed processes. Create procedure manuals outside of the SO Comply project. Develop, implement and maintain reconciliation scorecard. Assist the organization with projects and analysis as directed. Qualifications: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required. CPA desired. 5 years of accounting experience required, preferably in audit, general ledger or financial analysis. Must have SOX compliance experience. Must have demonstrated the ability to drive and lead projects. Has a good understanding of computer applications and is comfortable in a Microsoft Windows environment. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access and Hyperion. Oracle experience beneficial. Skilled in working with corporate financial and accounting systems, analyzing information, and recommending adjustments. Familiarity with GAAP and other applicable practices for this industry. Can be trusted to keep sensitive information secure. Maintains focus on accomplishing desired results. Ability to effectively communicate issues involving other areas of the company.
