Compliance Auditor

PlumRhino Consulting has an exciting Direct Hire opportunity for a Compliance Auditor in Highland Park, IL. The selected candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years experience in depository and consumer lending compliance. 

This individual will be auditing for compliance and recommending compliance remedies.  The Compliance Auditor will be reviewing files within our client’s branches for lending and deposit regulations.

They will be looking for compliance issues surrounding: Bank Secrecy Act Right to Financial Privacy Act Regulation D Electronic Funds Transfer Act - Regulation E Expedited Funds Availability Act - Regulation CC Truth-in-Savings Act - Regulation DD Fair Credit Reporting Act - as it relates to deposits Fair Lending File Comparison Review Home Mortgage Disclosure Act Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA) Consumer Leasing Act (Regulation M) Truth-in-Lending Act - Regulation Z Homeowners Protection Act Fair Lending Equal Credit Opportunity Act - Regulation B Product knowledge & new accounts procedures Processing requests & account maintenance Cash & check handling

The Compliance Auditor will make recommendations surrounding findings to upper management and will help train staff about compliance issues and how to avoid them. 

Requirements: Strong Business/Analytical skills A minimum of 5 years depository and consumer lending compliance experience Strong oral and written communication skills
