Durkin Group LLC is a 60-person professional services firm providing expertise to over 50 bank, investment and other financial institutions, on an as needed basis throughout North America and Europe. We regularly assist commercial bankers, fund managers, asset based lenders, law firms, special asset and bank special asset departments. 

 

Responsibilities

The consultant will be responsible for:  performing on-site projects consisting of field examinations, businessmen's evaluations and other customer defined engagements; documenting the findings/results in written form through detailed reports and in verbal form with customers and management; managing multiple assignments simultaneously; communicating with varied levels of client staff such as audit managers, underwriters, originators and syndication groups. 

 

Requirements

We are seeking professionals with 3 to 7 years of public accounting, auditing, field examination, or financial consulting experience for positions nationwide.  The position requires a desire to travel and the ability to work independently.  Communication skills are of the utmost importance and certifications such as CPA, CTP and CFE are preferred but not required.  Candidates should possess superior writing and organizational skills and the ability to meet stringent deadlines. Proficiencies in data mining software such as ACL, Idea or Monarch are a plus.
