SEG is a high-growth, private company that is expanding into the Dallas / Fort Worth market and is in the process of building our local team.  We are seeking to hire Contract Consultants and Senior Consultants for our Finance and Accounting Services (FAS) practice. 

 

Our FAS practice works alongside our clients to support their critical accounting and finance functions and to deliver high priority projects.  Areas of focus include:

 Accounting close execution and improvementFinancial and operational reporting cyclesNon-technical support of system implementationsUS GAAP and SEC technical advisory issuesMerger and acquisition integration assistance

 The ideal candidate will have a background in public accounting (preferably Big 4) and industry experience where they have progressed to a supervisory level such as:

 Controller / Assistant ControllerFinancial Reporting Manager / DirectorAccounting Manager / Senior Manager

 Responsibilities:

 Actively works on client engagements following direction of the engagement manager.  Produces assigned client deliverables ensuring quality completion.Develops client relationships with client team members to further enhance the firm’s relationship with the client.Identifies additional consulting opportunities while at the client site and communicates these opportunities to the engagement manger or principal.Actively participates in professional organizations representing SEG’s interests and promotes the firm to other organizations.  Builds own network to strengthen business relationships. 

Requirements:

 Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business; advanced degrees are highly desirable5-15+ years experienceCPA certification or CPA candidateBig 4 experience highly preferredStrong analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skillsStrong client service orientationUnderstanding of current accounting (GAAP) principles
