Contract Analyst - Finance

Our client, a global pharmaceutical and medical device company is seeking talent professionals with leadership abilities.  Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing data using internal systems and databases (including Oracle).  In Finance, this position supports US field locations and Corporate Accounts in processing and maintaining sales contracts.JOB DESCRIPTION:Coordinate & process the corporate purchasing group related functions, including rebates & administration fees and sales reporting.Work with branches and customers to adjust pricing and contracts.Participate in the resolution of contract and pricing disputes.Produce monthly and quarterly contract reports showing relevant business trends, including contract status, growth, expirations and discount trends.Research historical sales to assist in the development of responses to RFPs and analyze discount trends by business unit & product.Prepare annual budgets and assist with quarterly projections.Prepare annual budget and monthly sales reporting of active deals.Assist with testing of Oracle Contracts Module enhancements.QUALIFICATIONS:Demonstrated ability to secure, validate and analyze data Demonstrated ability to produce thorough scheduled and ad hoc reports Applied knowledge of Microsoft Excel and/or other relevant business software Prefer applied knowledge of Microsoft Access Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively Demonstrated ability to build effective business relationships Travel of 5% required EDUCATION:Bachelor’s Degree in Business or other relevant field of study OR equivalent relevant work experience. To apply for this position please email a word version of your resume to marthahayward@mergisgroup.com   Built on more than 30 years of expertise, The Mergis Group is a specialty recruiting firm committed to helping professionals make the best career choices.
