Contract Staff Accountant

  Description Immediate need for Contract Staff Accountant Position Fixed Asset reconciliation and review Preparing budget to actual analysis of accounts and capital additions Preparing periodic reconciliations Preparing fixed asset related schedules during year-end audit procedures Participating actively as a resource appointed to ad-hoc analysis Other duties as assigned Requirements 1-2 years of demonstrated experience in delivery of relevant and accurate business performance reporting on a periodic, quarterly and annual basis Ability to work effectively with employees of all disciplines to provide leadership and guidance in financial reporting Bachelors Degree in Accounting required Strong MS Office skills Ability to exercise a high degree of independent and professional judgment and discretion Robust technical, analytical, time management and organizational skills Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Built on more than 30 years of expertise, The Mergis Group is a specialty recruiting firm committed to helping professionals make the best career choices.
