In this role, you will be responsible for financial reporting and financial analysis for IMC and its subsidiaries.  Responsibilities will include: 

 

·  Direct accounting policies, procedures and internal controls to ensure compliance with Federal and state laws, reporting requirements and generally accepted accounting principals. 

·  Preparation of individual and consolidated financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

·  Preparation of annual operating and capital budgets and rollout of budgets to department managers and financial training of non-financial staff.  Monitor and report actual/budget variances.

·  Work with external auditors to facilitate annual audit.

·  Manage payroll and all related reporting, including management of outsourced payroll vendor (ADP). 

·  Manage accounts receivable and payable functions.

·  Cash management and related forecasting.

·  Contract compliance.

·  Management of travel expenses.

·  Responsible for lender required financial and reporting covenant compliance. 

·  Manage outsourced income / franchise tax preparation; oversight of sales and use and state annual report compliance

·  Develop documentation / controls of all accounting policies and procedures to insure eventual compliance with Sarbanes Oxley

·  Develop cost accounting reporting.

·  Evaluate internal controls and financial accounting systems.  Recommend improvements to ensure the integrity of Company’s financial information.

·  Analyze, interpret and advise management of accounting and financial implications of existing and planned operations, as well as government rules and regulations.

 

Qualified candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and CPA certification and 7-10 years demonstrated experience in accounting and business analysis, in addition to analytical expertise in budgeting, projections, strategic forecasting and spreadsheets (Excel).  Experience with Solomon accounting software preferred.

 

Additional skills required include:

 Extensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and methods and practices of effective accounting and fiscal management.Solid knowledge of SEC rules and regulations.Ability to prepare and coordinate preparation of comprehensive, complex accounting reports and records.  Aptitude for systems and strong management, leadership, customer service sand communication skills.Must be a team player with strong analytical, management, communication (written and verbal), customer service and organization skills.
