Controller / CPA

 

Growing entrepreneurial company is in search of a Controller/CPA to join their diligent team to assist with various Accounting related functions/projects including, but not limited to:

> Overseeing the maintenance of the general ledger

> Controlling day-to-day Accounting

> Financial Reporting, including monthly close, covenant compliance, and consolidation

> Prepare annual budgets, and forecasts

>Work closely with Principal and CFO

> Reconciling inter-company transactions

>Corporate tax preparation

 

Ideal candidate will posses the following:

 

> A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (MBA from Ivy League strongly preferred

> A strong Accounting background with at least 5 years of experience (Restaurant Accounting experience is a plus)

> Experience managing the accounts for various entities

> Strong business skills

> Excellent communicational skills

>Extremely attentive to details

>Great leadership qualities
