 Description


Prominent New Jersey family office seeks outstanding financial professional with strong accounting and analytical skills. The Controller is a critical role within family office with major accounting and reporting responsibilities.  Successful candidate will have skills required to command financial reporting on a diversified pool of assets. The position will report to Chief Financial Officer.

 

Responsibilities:

Manage the accounting and monthly reporting for over 40 entities.

Statement reconciliation for investment vehicles

Prepare information for outside CPA firm to prepare tax returns.

Supervise Accounting Clerk

 



Requirements:


5 – 7 year experience in Accounting

BS degree in Accounting or Finance.

CPA or MBA preferred.

Advanced skills in Quickbooks, Excel, Oracle, MS Word, Access and Advent Software.

Knowledgeable regarding broker statement, 1099s, etc.

Discreet, professional, multi-tasker, team player, good communicator.
