Controller - IT
Alliance is an independent Enterprise, Networking, Services and Solutions Integrator, offering industry leading solutions to meet the needs of both commercial and government enterprises.
We are searching for a Controller. We are growing and would like someone who thrives in an area where change is a constant. We focus heavily on our clients and would like the new person to do the same.
We want someone who:
- Has strong financial experience with multiple departments. We have not set this part up yet. We want someone who can analyze the best way to do that and be able to explain it to management. We are currently using MAS200 for our accounting; but it does not handle Service and Support well.
- Has Government experience or jumps right in to figure it out. We have a GSA schedule. We outsource that part but there is still work on our side that needs to be done. If you don’t know how to do this but will jump in that is fine.
- Can take on any job in the accounting/order area when need be.
- Can do normal company items like payroll (we use Paychex), commission, AP, AR, Reconciliations, Credit, contracts, Bank Deposits, Expense Reports, Checking Credit of our clients, working with our Vendors and Customers, Maintenance of the General Ledger and reporting etc.
- Can manage people and hire them. You will need to hire 1 more person.
- I am sure I have missed some things. If you have done this type of job before, I am positive you know what I have missed.
- Is calm in a storm….we are a sales and service group.
- Can deal with items like “The client said they needed it yesterday”
We also need help with HR to include benefits. We have good benefits, but we are not sure if there is a better way to do it.
This person would have input into the growth of Alliance Technology Group. This is an exciting time for us. And we are looking for someone to help with the growth.
Salary is based on experience.
Alliance Technology Group is located in Hanover, MD near Arundel Mills.
