Controller Opportunity with Stable N. Dallas Company!

Need a mature individual that is not necessarily on the fast track, and wants a stable long term environment!

 

Plano company in search for a "hands on" Controller!

 

Role will oversee a staff of six dealing primarily with accounting and sales support. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated hands-on manager. Excellent communication and human relations skills are required. This position is responsible for the efficient performance of accounting functions and must be experienced in the areas of financial reporting, forecasting and analysis.

 

Oversight includes business analysis and may require the monitoring of departmental or project economics and timelines, reporting results to the CEO. The Business Manager may be called upon to evaluate and recommend procedures to streamline systems or processes, both in the accounting department and companywide.

 

 

 

 Requirements include:  Good working knowledge of computer programs and experience with Solomon software is a plus. Strong computer skills are required. A BBA or BS degree in Accounting/Finance and at least 5 years of operational accounting and management experience is required. Experience with payroll reporting including 401(k), sales and franchise taxes is preferred.
