New York City based large advertising firm seeks a high energy self motivated individual to partner with their CFO as a Controller! This is a great opportunity for someone who values team work, work life balance and a true sense of accomplishment.

 

Duties include:

 

Managing the entire accounting department including financial management.

Responsible for the full cycle payroll and light human resources functions including interfacing with employees in resolving pay discrepancies

Processing the month and year end close

Preparation of financial statements, profit and loss and balance sheet

Reconciliation of all accounts

 

Qualified candidates will possess the following:

 

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

CPA/MBA preferred

Must be proficient with MAS 500, Great Plains or Solomon a must!!!!!

Strong Excel skills required

Must come with 7+ years experience out of the Advertising, Public Relations, Media industry, or publishing.
