Controller - Real Estate

One of the nation’s largest and most rapidly expanding owner, developer, and fee manager of special purpose multi-unit residential real estate is pursuing an exceptional Controller for its Austin headquarters. This is senior position and requires a highly motivated team player who is dedicated to excellence.  Areas of responsibility include:

 

§  GAAP accounting and financial reporting

§  Period corporate, partner, and client reporting

§  Construction accounting and reporting

§  Local, state and federal tax & regulatory compliance

§  Cash management

§  Accounts Payable

§  Accounts Receivable

§  Management of treasury services

§  Internal controls over assets and financial reporting

§  Debt compliance and reporting

§  Insurance administration

§  Budgeting and forecasting

§  Audit Coordination

§  Partner and Client relations

§  Accounting Systems

 

 

The successful candidate will have a verifiable track record of creating and enhancing a world class accounting and financial organization through the hiring, training, developing, motivating, and overseeing of professional and clerical staff, the design and implementation of highly efficient and effective processes, and the adherence to the highest standards of excellence and integrity.  Position requires CPA certification, minimum 5 years experience as controller of a multi-location multi-entity real estate organization, or an experienced manager/senior manager for a national CPA firm with relevant experience.  Excellent references a must.
