Controller in North Dallas

A growing company in Dallas is seeking a Controller to join their growing team.  The ideal candidate would have exposure to financial reporting.Job Summary: Responsible for the direction and supervision of all accounting, forecasting, budgeting activities, maintenance of financial records and preparation and interpretation of financial reports. -Planning the business by leading annual budgeting & monthly forecasting -Make assessments of business performance using growth metrics, vertical/margin analysis, budget/forecast comparisons and monthly reporting - Administer the Business unit's fiscal record keeping. -Maintains cash accounts, budgets, and government reporting. -Prepares financial reports for executive management. -Administers company's accounting system to maintain financial records. -Develops, plans, and recommends practices and procedures for proper financial control of Business Unit. -Act as a liaison with corporate office on reporting and accounting issues. -Monitors inter-company accounting reports. -Performs other duties as required.
