Controller up to 100K

My client, a giant in the manufacturing/distribution industry, is seeking exceptional candidates to fill a need for a controller. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior accountant of accounting manager to take the next step in his/her career The ideal candidate is competent in a hands-on role in financial, budget and analysis preparation and reporting as done in medium-large sized manufacturing operations. Responsibilities include:Preparation of monthly close statements and variance analysisInterpretation and administration of complex contracts Management of client and community relations Financial analysis, preparation of budget and forecastsSeek out new business opportunities Also will be managing the billing, A/P and procurement functions. Qualifications· BS Degree in Accounting or Finance – MBA or CPA a plus· At least 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment, supervisory experience is preferred· Highly proficient with EXCEL, Word· Strong accounting reporting skills· Knowledge of GAAP and internal controls· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including ability to work independently and with teams across a broad spectrum of positions and personalities.· Good analytical skills.· Problem solving and organizational skills.· Good understanding of fundamental accounting transaction flows · Microsoft Access experience a plus RemX Financial Staffing is an Equal Opportunity Employer
