Downtown Corporation is search of a Controller.  Fun Company to work for with  a Great CFO mentor!!

Job Responsibilities:Manage all aspects of the annual financial audit, prepares tax filings and workpapersWork with the Human Resources department with regard to monitoring payroll and the Retirement Savings PlansOversee the Accounting and Finance functions and reports to the Chief Financial Officer.  Responsible for the general ledger, including its maintenance and review of entries and the work of the Accounting staff.  Prepare the annual budget, monthly financial reporting (including financial statements and board reporting) and all other ad hoc financial reportingSupervise a staff of 6-8

Requirements:CPA is mandatory (must be in active status) Minimum 5 years experience in a Supervisory role7 plus years accounting experienceKnowledge of investments, financial implications of employee benefit plans, and experience in not-for-profit accounting is preferred. Strong computer skills and extensive knowledge of spreadsheets is required.Outstanding written and verbal communication skills as well as excellent analytical and organizational skills are also required.
