Star Concessions, Ltd. is a leader in the airport concessions industry, currently operating food, beverage and retail establishments in eight major airports including DFW International and Dallas Love Field. We are a fast growing company that offers advancement opportunities.

We have over 58 units company wide which include name branded concepts such as Chili’s too, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, Whataburger, East Side Mario’s, and Seattle’s Best Coffee.

Senior Accountant Position

Education and Other Skill Requirements: College degree in Accounting - required Excellent oral and written communications skills CPA Certificate or progress toward certification

Senior Accountant Requirements include: Perform month-end close functions including preparing general ledger and payroll journal entries Ability to prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules including compiling month end binders. Ability to prepare sales and use tax returns (multi-state). Ability to complete the following reconciliations: a) bank, b) accounts receivable and c) accounts payable from subsidiary ledgers. Ability to work independently and to prioritize workload. Experience in Microsoft Business Solutions - Great Plains (Dynamics or e-Enterprise) software preferred.

* Experience using FRX report writer is a plus. Experience in the restaurant, retail or hospitality industries is a preferred. Ability to prepare franchise royalty reports and airport rent reports and reconciliations. Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements including performing fluctuation analysis Advanced user of Microsoft Excel Ability to understand and apply accounting principals. Ability to meet deadlines. Ability to take on special projects. Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm and flexible.
