Summary:

Corporate CFO needed to manage multi-company financial operations.  The company has annual revenues at nearly 18 million.  This position will be part of the senior management leadership team along with CEO and COO.  Corporate CFO will oversee two controllers. 

 

Job Purpose:

To provide daily financial operations and decision making for a multi-company operation to accomplish organization goals; by planning, implementing, and evaluating organizational strategies and programs and developing financial well-being of the organization by providing financial projections and accounting services. 

 

Duties:
* Accomplishes finance strategies by determining accountabilities; communicating and enforcing values, policies, and procedures.

 

* Responsible for individual and combined monthly financial statements of multiple companies.

 

* Oversees billing, collections, A/R, & A/P operations.


* Develops finance organizational strategies by contributing financial and accounting information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction; establishing functional objectives in line with organizational objectives.

* Establishes finance operational strategies by evaluating trends; establishing critical measurements; determining production, productivity, quality.

* Develops organization prospects by studying economic trends and revenue opportunities; projecting acquisition and expansion prospects; creates pro-formas on acquisition and expansion projects; analyzing organization operations; identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancement.

* Develops financial strategies by forecasting capital, facilities, and staff requirements; identifying monetary resources; developing action plans.

* Reports financial status by developing budgets and forecasts; reporting results; analyzing variances; developing improvements.


* Establishes financial strategies by tracking economic conditions; forecasting monetary requirements; attracting monetary resources; promoting new strategies with investors; accumulating capital to fund expansion; accumulating long term capital from various resources

* Avoids legal challenges by adhering to the corporate charter; understanding current and proposed legislation; enforcing regulations throughout the organization; taking action against violators; requiring new procedures.

* Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.

* Performs risk management by assessing strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats; maintaining adequate insurance to protect assets and cover liabilities.

Education/Experience:

Minimum requirement: Bachelors degree is required for this position. Masters in Finance or CPA preferred. 

 

Minimum 5 years of experience needed in the above duties/skill set.  Healthcare experience is not mandatory but preferred.  Company will train right candidate regarding healthcare industry.
