Corporate GL Accountant (3236)

Location Carlsbad CAJob Responsibilities Responsible for compiling, and interpreting financial information and support for the corporate finance department. Performs technical analysis to ensure financial integrity and compliance with generally accepted accounting principles. Supports finance and internal customers through data reporting and analysis.Records, classifies, and summarizes financial transactions and events in accordance with GAAP.Analyzes financial data and extracts relevant information; interprets data.Aids internal customers in compiling financial information to provide technical advice & analytical support.Contributor to business and functional strategy by providing information to internal customers. TYPICAL DELIVERABLESMonthly, quarterly, and annual closing of the books with minimal audit/review adjustments.A clean, supported and reconciled general ledger account within policy guidelines.Various project analysis to support business decisions.Financial reporting for internal customers.Prepared and reviewed Journal entries and support to ensure transactions are recognized according to GAAP.Polices, procedures, guidelines, and timeliness for enhancement of company wide control environment. Experience/Skills Required KNOWLEDGE / BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCEBA / BS in related field. Must have3+ years related experience. Progression of accountability and responsibility in previous work related experiences.
