Corporate Internal Audit Manager

Our client, a very large and stable corporation headquartered in Charlotte is in need of an Internal Audit Manager due to internal promotion. This manager will be responsible for supervising the Internal Audit Department, which is made up of 10 staff as well as overseeing the internal audit functions for the corporation and its subsidiaries. Other duties would include planning and executing the company’s internal audit plan. This opportunity offers plenty of internal growth, planned travel (up to 50% travel) and is a highly visible role within the corporate structure.

 

Requirements:

·  BS in Accounting or Finance

·  CPA or CIA certification is highly preferred

·  MUST have 5-10 yrs of audit experience (ideally straight Big 4 or large regional firm, combo of public accounting and industry or straight industry)

·  MUST have strong financial audit experience and understanding of internal controls

·  MUST have SOX 404 experience

·  MUST have supervisory experience including direct reports
