Corporate Internal Auditor

National Presto Industries, Inc., located in the beautiful Chippewa Valley, seeks an Internal Auditor at its Eau Claire, Wisconsin, headquarters. National Presto is the parent corporation of a family of businesses that manufactures small electric household appliances, absorbent products, and defense items.

 

The internal auditor assists in the financial audit by the company’s public accounting firm and provides senior management and the Board of Directors with independent evaluations and recommendations pertaining to operation of the company, adequacy of internal controls, and compliance with company policies and procedures. This position also directs the work of student interns. Minimal travel required.

 

Responsibilities include preparation of the annual audit schedule, integration of internal and external audit activities, and recommending changes to policies and procedures. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.  CPA and/or audit experience desired.
