Corporate Tax PreparationResponsibilities: Prepare fed, state, & local income & franchise tax returns & estimates for corps. Provide data for fed & state audits. Perform prelim research on technical issues to formulate a basis for tax return filing positions. Prepare monthly tax provision entries, SFAS 109 reports, account recons, & ETR analysis. Required Skills & Experience: Min of 4 yrs experience in fed & state income tax prep & tax accting. General knowledge of income tax laws, income tax accting under SFAS 109, & GAAP rules. Strong analytical skills & organized work habits. Strong PC skills, especially in the use of excel. Strong written & oral communications skills.BBA Desired Skills & Experience: Experience in CorpTax tax prep software & SAP & Peoplesoft gls a plus. Big 4 accting firm &/or large corp. tax dept exp with emphasis on companies subject to multi-state taxation desired.
