Corporate Tax Senior

SUMMARY:

To provide support to the Director of Tax in all areas of tax, including merger and acquisition, compliance and tax accounting, ensuring that the tax function delivers timely and measurable value to internal customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Assist Director in providing all necessary information accurately and timely.

· Assist in research and planning projects, including modeling impacts of structural changes and/or impact of mergers and acquisitions.

· Assist with preparation of the income tax provision in accordance with FAS 109, including impact of FAS 123(R) and FIN 48. Prepare quarterly estimated tax payments Prepare federal and state income tax returns, property tax returns, sales and use tax returns and annual reports. Prepare annual informational returns (1099-Div; 1099-Misc). Keep current on industry trends, including developing functional expertise in FAS 109 and other areas impacting related functional areas.

REQUIREMENTS:Undergraduate degree, preferably in tax or accounting. Minimum 2-4 Years of income tax experience. Minimum 2 years public accounting experience. Solid compliance process knowledge Solid research skills
