You will need to properly maintain and record cost accounting records such as sales, labor, and material costs, along with detailed inventory analysis. You will handle project costing, analysis and implementation of various other projects within the Accounting department. You must be comfortable working in a hectic, fast-paced environment. You will be part of our five person accounting team, directly reporting to our controller. Responsibilities include: ·  Implement/update new services, programs and procedures relating to inventory ·  Review bills of materials and routings for accuracy, calculate standard labor and overhead rates and analyze manufacturing variance accounts each month. ·  Review purchase price variance accounts monthly and monthly cycle count reports for large variances. Requirements: ·  BS/BA in Accounting or Finance degree ·  CPA preferred ·  2-5 years professional experience in cost accounting, preferably in a process manufacturing environment with ERP software required (Microsoft Dynamics preferred). The salary is $50,000-60,000 depending upon experience, with potential for a merit increase in six months.
