Job Duties:Analysis and Development of standard cost.Analysis of gross margins with emphasis on cost of sales and product line.Analysis of manufacturing variances.Analysis of manufacturing, overhead, and engineering expenses.Labor reporting & analysis.Financial reporting –manufacturing performance, gross margin and ad-hoc reports to support analysis of cost accounting data.Monthly presentation of financial data to manufacturing directors and managers.Cycle count and annual physical inventory audits. Journal entries as required to maintain integrity and accuracy of cost system.Inventory reconciliations.Some involvement with Fixed and Capital assets.Special projects as assignedBackup for Project accountant

 

Requirements:BS Degree in Finance or Accounting. 3-5 years experience with major costing system (i.e. standard, job, process or activity base) in a manufacturing environment.  Experience with JDE is a plus.  Strong technical and presentation skills required, to include experience with report writing/generation.  Strong skills in Excel.
