Cost segregation is a hybrid of tax, accounting, and construction estimating that provides real estate owners and investors with significant tax savings opportunities. The following opportunities exist: Cost Segregation Consultant/Engineer/Estimator in Albuquerque, New Mexico; Irvine, California; San Francisco, California; and Portland, Oregon Cost Segregation Senior in San Francisco, CaliforniaPlease visit www.mossadams.com for more information about these opportunities. Responsibilities: Cost Segregation Consultant/Engineer/Estimator Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality Provide timely, high-quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations Assist with new client identification and cost segregation study proposals Perform quantity surveys from construction documents and physical site inspections Estimate construction costs using nationally recognized costing sources Complete client deliverable reportsCost Segregation Senior Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality Provide timely, high-quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations Assist with new client identification and cost segregation study proposals Perform quantity surveys from construction documents and physical site inspections Estimate construction costs using costing manuals such as R.S. Means and Marshall & Swift Complete client deliverable reportsQualifications: Cost Segregation Consultant/Engineer/Estimator Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture Experience in the cost segregation consulting, construction cost estimating, construction engineering, civil engineering, or construction project management disciplines is a plus CPA, MAI, ASA, CMI, or PE designation a plus Professional demeanor and excellent written and verbal communication skills Exceptional client service and communication skills Ability to multi-task while maintaining careful attention to detail and accuracy Thorough understanding of construction documents Proficiency in Microsoft Office software Short-term travel is requiredCost Segregation Senior Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture 2+ years of experience performing cost segregation studies CPA, MAI, ASA, CMI, or PE designation a plus Experience with the federal rules and regulations governing tax depreciation Strong engineering/construction management background with thorough understanding of construction documents Professional demeanor and excellent written and verbal communication skills Exceptional client service and communication skills Ability to multi-task while maintaining careful attention to detail and accuracy Ability to supervise staff Proficiency in Microsoft Office software Short-term travel is requiredTo apply, please send your cover letter and resume to renee.larose@mossadams.com or to apply online visit www.mossadams.com Please specify which position and location you are applying for in the heading of you email. Moss Adams is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
