Cost and Operations Analyst / Accountant

Our client is an extremely successful Southeastern Pennsylvania area manufacturer located North of Philadelphia and commutable from the Lancaster and Harrisburg areas.

 

They are looking for a CPA or MBA with at least 5 to 10 years experience in cost accounting and operational analysis to effectively manage and implement the product and all costing operations and systems. Our candidate will also have deep and extensive manufacturing and costing experience and expertise.

 

Responsibilities include:  product costing; product costing for new and developing products; preparing monthly budget to actual variance reports and holding other departments accountable for their performance; upgrading the accounting and internal control functions; expense management, assessing product and customer profitability and recommending and implementing improvements.

 

The ideal candidate’s experience will also include inventory management and improving turnover; financial reporting and developing relevant performance metrics.  Our ideal candidate will have the ability to lead, grow and manage in an entrepreneurial environment, excellent communication skills and be comfortable interacting with Company senior management and the Company's outside constituencies. lenders and be able to meet critical deadlines on short notice.
