Credit & Collections Supervisor

THE QUIKRETE® COMPANIES, the leading producer of packaged concrete and related products, is seeking a Credit and Collections Supervisor to work in our Corporate Accounting office located in Duluth, Georgia.


Responsibilities/Duties
·  Supervision of the Credit and Collections department team members.
·  Review and support all Credit and Collections team activities.
·  Generate, review and interpret credit reports for new customers and recommend credit limits and increases.
·  Review and maintain collections status reporting and focus staff issues.
·  Work with outside collection agencies, legal counsel, and company management to review accounts, place and release liens/bonds, and take appropriate action on bankruptcy filings and other business matters.
·  Perform personnel evaluations, review time cards and schedules.


Qualifications/Skills
·  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or comparable field of study.
·  Minimum of 3 years Supervisory or Leadership experience in Commercial Credit and Collections Field.
·  Proficient in Multi-State Lien/Bond and Collection Laws.
·  Experience in the manufacturing and or construction industry.
·  Experience in answering claims, bankruptcy notices and other legal inquiries.
·  Proficient in Microsoft Office Product Suite (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook).
·  Minimum 3 years experience with a General Ledger Accounting Software system (JD Edwards experience preferred).
