Credit Manager
Credit Manager, Boise, ID
SYSCO Food Services of Idaho is currently seeking a Credit Manager to supervise the Credit Department and handle all credit issues including, but not limited to, collections, reporting systems, bad debt, and days outstanding. Essential responsibilities include collections for receivable accounts, maintaining accounts receivable goals of days outstanding, maintaining reporting systems, reviewing credit history, providing sales staff with timely information and advising CFO of cash reserves. This position is also responsible for providing coaching to subordinates, and training sales associates in all aspects of credit and collections, which requires traveling regularly for company business.
Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor of Business Administration and two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Other skills and abilities required include a demonstrated ability to manage and organize, while understanding credit practices, procedures, and general finance terminology. Candidates must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and must have a valid drivers license and maintain a good driving record for company travel.
