Credit Portfolio Risk Analysis-Bus Unit Financial Analyst V

- Conduct credit risk analysis through data mining of loan level data, financial modeling, trend analysis, and discussions with appropriate credit and line of business personnel.- 4 years of college. Masters degree, CFA, CPA or other advanced certification a plus.- 5+ years experience in banking including exposure to balance sheet. Significant financial analysis experience required particularly on a more macro level. - Strong leadership skills. Team and customer service oriented. The ability to build strong working relationships with customers and peers. Strategic, resourceful and innovative.- Highly analytical. The ability to manipulate large quantities of complex data to draw insights and conclusions.- Excellent end-user computer skills. At a minimum requires expertise in Excel. Familiarity with Essbase and Access a plus.- Ability to communicate (verbal and written) effectively with various levels of the organization and effectively influence business decisions.- High degree of intellectual curiosity. - Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, strong execution and follow through. Able to take on projects and tasks and ensure delivery of commitments.- Identify and track relevant credit quality indicators and trends.- Conduct ad hoc analysis to support Senior Management and the Chief Credit Officer.- Lead or participate in project teams responsible for further strengthening National Citys credit risk management infrastructure.Qualifications- 4 years of college.
