Customs and International Trade Senior Technology Consultant   The international trade specialists of Deloitte Tax LLP (Deloitte Tax) help companies understand national and international trade requirements and align the trade function with business objectives. Our Global Trade Solutions Group, a national practice within Deloitte International Tax, advises U.S. and foreign multinational companies on global import and export strategies and compliance.  The GTS group is composed of attorneys, operations experts, customs brokers, auditors, and trade management professionals who help importers and exporters achieve worldwide compliance and realize efficiencies and advantages in their global supply chain.  A key function of the Group is to work with clients to assess and potentially automate their international trade management procedures within major trading regions.  Our automation services include assisting clients in customizing their enterprise resource systems or trade management software to accommodate their specific trade requirementsWe are currently seeking a Staff or Senior consultant for our Global Trade Solutions Group.  Requirements include:   - demonstrated interest in international business or international affairs - ERP system consulting or implementation experience, including exposure to supply chain technology processes. - at least two years of external consulting or corporate project management experience implementing SAP (preferably including at least one SAP SD full life cycle implementation). - knowledge of the SAP R/3 system viewed favorably - adept at designing and implementing technology-enabled business solutions for clients as part of a high-talent team. - a desire to complement technology skills with international trade management consulting. - able to collaborate with clients, identify engagement follow-on opportunities, and have a strong desire to excel. - a Bachelors and/or a Masters degree - foreign language skills or study abroad helpful About DeloitteDeloitte refers to one or more of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, a Swiss Verein, and its network of member firms, each of which is a legally separate and independent entity.
