Required SkillsExperience in the securities business. Strong knowledge of securities, cash and derivative markets, businesses and products e.g. impact of market developments. Excellent relationship management, partnership and influencing skills. Strategic Planning / Project management / Negotiation / Analytical and Presentation skills. Must be able to work within a team environment (strong team player including leadership). Strong metrics management and internal process control skills combined with service planning experience. Previous experience in Network Management or a Global or Sub Custodian environment will be an advantage.Job DescriptionThe Network Management function is the global group responsible for managing all aspects of the sub-custodian and correspondent agent bank network employed by the Bank, including selection, financial review, market practice assessment, risk analysis, fee negotiation and service evaluation. The Network Manager will be responsible for managing a network of sub-custodians to provide clearing, settlement and custodial services. It is the Network Managers responsibility to undertake regular on-site visits to each agent bank and to maintain strong effective relationships with the sub custodians and local market participants, in order to assure quality service and timely information flow to clients and to the Internal Businesses. The Network Manager will also proactively monitor and influence market developments through targeted lobbying efforts on behalf of clients or own businesses, to analyze and develop solutions to both service and product gaps in existing markets (e.g. impact of market developments) and to identify opportunities to expand the sub custody network coverage in new emerging markets.
