Data Entry Specialist
SUMMARY
Enters data into computer & performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Enters Engagement Agreements, and client personal data into client database.
Prepares and sorts contracts, and identifies and interprets data to be entered.
Audits Engagement Agreements for inconsistencies, incorrect or missing data.
Enters alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from Engagement Agreements into data base following format displayed on screen.
Processes corrections as required to information entered.
Sorts, and verifies accuracy of data to be entered.
Keeps record of work completed.
Reviews error reports and enters corrections into computer.
Routes Engagement Agreements after data entry and weekly posting of current batch.
Responds to inquiries regarding data entry
Create individual case files to ready each case for transfer to a production unit.
Assign cases to various production units.
Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
