We are looking for a bright, energetic Operations Manager for our independent valuation service.

 

Responsibilities

Responsible for the successful operation of the office.  Some of the daily duties would be: Allocate tasks, supervise and train remote Operations staffCreate standard reports required for delivery to clientsAssist in the implementation of new clientsProvide end of month/quarter support to clientsAnalyze standard trade confirms, book hedged and hedging items into software. Define hedge designations and run effectiveness, risk and MTM reports.Assisting Financial Engineers in creating pricing files by gathering market data, checking results, creating final valuation reports.Learn to analyze exotic EMTN trade confirms and prepare pricing files.

 

An excellent candidate will possess:Finance degree and strong numeracy skillsDerivatives knowledge and or finance/accounting background with emphasis on economic and accounting hedges (FAS 133/IAS 39/CICA 3865)Derivative Operations background.Supervisory and training skills.Strong Excel skillsDocumentation skillsThe desire to work in an intense, committed start-up environment with a talented team
