Job Description

 

Primarily interfaces with: Senior Management and Business Operations

 

· Manage technical accounting function responsible for research and recommendations regarding new accounting and reporting requirements from the FASB, EITF, SEC, PCAOB, and other regulatory agencies.

· Ensure accounting policies modified in support of such research and recommendations surrounding new accounting and reporting requirements.

· Prepare and present communications related to new accounting requirements, including updates for the Company's senior executives and Audit Committee and training communications for plant and product group finance personnel

· Provide support related to coordinating the activities of the Company's external auditors

· Provide technical accounting support and assistance to product group finance staffs including consultations regarding U.S. GAAP and company accounting policies

· Review and consultation on accounting treatment of significant non-routing transactions and estimation processes

· Manage corporate accounting staff through monthly close and related accounting issues

· Manage preparation and review of quarterly reports on Forms 10-Q and annual reports on Forms 10-K, including coordination of all financial statement, footnote and MD&A disclosures

· Oversee external reporting required pursuant to U.S. Bureau of Economic Affairs

· Assist with other external reporting processes as and when needed

· Other special projects as assigned

 

Job RequirementS

 

· Experience with U.S. GAAP accounting and SEC reporting requirements, with at least 4-6 years Big Four accounting

· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance

· CPA certification required

· Excellent communication skills in the English language

· Strong interpersonal and relationship skills

· Strong organization and problem-solving skills

· Strong desire, ability and interest to develop and take an interest in career progression

· Travel up to 10%
