Director – Not for Profit Practice – NewYork City-Accounting Management Solutions, Inc.

 

Accounting Management Solutions, Inc. (AMS), the leading provider of financial and accounting consulting services in New England, is expanding to New York City.  We are currently searching for a Director – Not for Profit Practice, a newly created position. Since 1998, AMS has been a premier provider of part-time and interim financial management professionals supporting for profit and non-profit organizations. For this newly created position we are searching for a finance professional who enjoys an entrepreneurial environment and is prepared to build on AMS successes in MA and extend the Nonprofit Practice to the NYC region.

 

Primary responsibilities include:Developing new business Recruiting and retaining “best in class” consulting CFOs, controllers and senior accountantsManaging and delivering high quality work to clientsPartnering with other leaders of AMS to build a great organization

 

Qualifications Include:Deep and broad experience in the Not for Profit/Higher Education and/or Healthcare industriesOutstanding reputation Strong financial and accounting expertise and credentialsEntrepreneurial attitude and team playerExcellent communication skillsExperience in a professional services firm preferredCPA desired

 

This position reports to the Managing Director of the Not for Profit Practice.
