Director of Finance

 

You will be involved in everything from banking relationships, budgeting, managing day-to-day financial and administrative tasks, to working with the external auditors. This is a long-term career opportunity with an innovative organization, working in a casual working environment, with exposure to senior level management.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Manage the financial, administrative and corporate operations of the company, including but not limited to:

·  Accounting and financial management and control

·  Hire, train and supervise staff of 4

·  budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning

·  Cash management

·  Banking relationships

·  Audit coordination

·  Risk management

·  Tax and corporate filings

·  Prepare financial and operating reports and briefing materials for senior management, advisory boards and the Board of Directors regarding corporate operations.

·  Manage contractual relationships with third-party consultants.

·  Supervise support staff to ensure timely completion of Corporation work.

·  Undertake special projects and other duties as assigned from time to time by the President

·  Participate in due diligence for potential acquisitions

 

Requirements:

·  BS in Accounting with minimum 7-12 years experience

·  Candidate is preferred to be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or MBA

·  Hands-on experience with overseeing accounting operations

·  Strong leader of both people and process

·  Top notch systems skills in both Microsoft Dynamics - Great Plains Accounting and Navision
