Director of Operations
SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:Directs and organizes all general accounting activities and staff.  Responsible for new and existing clients in the day-to-day operations of the business.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Work closely with client on-site and over the phone, in a professional manner.2.             Ability to work one-on-one with a variety of personalities.3.             Responsible for understanding each client's service agreement, assigning work to the appropriate staff accountant, and maintain staff schedule.4.             Ensure that each client is satisfactorily set-up, trained and maintained on iFi system, including printer set-up.5.             Responsible for follow-up with client and staff on a monthly basis to ensure that all contracted work is complete, to maintain client satisfaction and resolve concerns/problems.6.             Maintain, review and approve all client month-end financial statements.7. Administers preparation of interim, year-end and comparative financial reports; performs and provides analysis of current results to prior periods and/or budgets for client(s) and Company.8.             Responsible for Company accounting, to include payroll, accounts receivable and payable, collections, budgeting and financial statements.9.             Coordinates employee recruitment, hiring, orientation and training.10. Responsible for all employee relation issues, including performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, assignment of work, staff meetings and employee development.11. Analyze profitability and billable time by client, cash flow projections, client growth goals/plans and cost savings.12. Prepare and evaluate time and pricing estimates for all projects.13. Knowledgeable of the Company's service offerings.14. Responsible for working with the sales team to make a smooth transition when bringing on new clients.15. Responsible for all administrative functions on accounts.16. Must have above average computer skills to include, Microsoft computer programs and extensive QuickBooks experience.
