Director of Tax

We are a national search and recruiting firm that specializes in the financial services niche.  Currently, we are working on a Director of Tax search for a publicly held client of ours.

 

Some background on the position requirements are:

 

o  Oversee all aspects of tax functions and SFAS 109 (Provision Calculation)

o  Assist senior management in areas of 401K and audits

 

Experience Required:

 

o  Bachelors in Accounting; CPA

o  Minimum 7 years related tax and accounting experience

o  Experience with IRC  

o  CTP or Masters of Tax designation a plus, but not a requirement

 

This opportunity is located in Eastern Michigan with 40 year-old, established firm that has been public for several years.  Strong balance sheet and growing niche are at forefront of expansion with this very well run, expanding company.

 

This opportunity carries a base salary in the $110K range, plus 15% MBO potential, 401K, plus full and complete benefits.
