The Personnel Board recruits for 23 hiring jurisdictions to fill more than 800 job classifications. Currently we are seeking qualified candidates to fill the Director of Tax Collection position.
For this position, applicants must meet ALL of the minimum qualifications below:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related degree with AT LEAST 18 hours in Accounting.
2. Experience supervising, evaluating, and training subordinate employees in a taxation accounting environment.
3. Experience implementing departmental accounting procedures to maintain adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
4. Experience evaluating and interpreting case law, state codes or legal opinions related to tax law or changes in tax law.
