At Grant Thornton, we provide high quality, unbiased business and asset valuations that yield results with a high degree of support, utilizing personnel who apply business valuation approaches and methods to a variety of tangible and non-tangible assets, including equity valuations, option analyses, and purchase allocations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: -Organize, manage and direct a variety of fraud investigation and litigation services while managing to budget.-Oversee and apply business valuation approaches and methods to a variety of tangible and non-tangible assets, including equity valuations, option analyses, and purchase allocations.-Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, and lead change efforts effectively.-Consult, work with, and service client base to make recommendations and serve as a business advisor to the client.-Manage, develop, train, and mentor staff on projects and assess performance for engagement and year-end reviews. -Team with partners and senior managers on proposals and business development initiatives.-Actively participate in recruiting talent to the firm.-Attend professional development, networking events and training seminars on a regular basis. -Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality.QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: -5 to 7+ years of progressive experience in public accounting or consulting with solid business valuation experience.-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. -Certification/license required, valuation credentials such as CVA, ABV, AVA, or ASA preferred. -Experience in broad-based business and financial valuations, multi-discipline appraisals, and fairness opinions.-Knowledge in FAS 141/142 required.-Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment. -Strong leadership, recruiting, training, and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent verbal, written (including technical writing), and presentation skills. -Ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to various client sites.Additional Information: Travel Percentage: 10% Company:Grant Thornton LLPLocation:Seattle, WAStatus:Full Time, EmployeeJob Category:Full Time, EmployeeEducation:Bachelor's Degree Company:Grant Thornton LLPReference Code:8587
