Contract Risk & Compliance is an Internal Audit service offering a broad variety of contract review and compliance services spanning a variety of industries, for example, software licensing inspections in the high-tech industry, franchise audits in the retail industry, debt covenant reviews in the financial services industry, patent based royalty inspections in the manufacturing industry, advertising agency audits in the consumer business industry, lease revenue audits in the real estate industry and revenue sharing audits in the life sciences industry. We currently have a need for professionals with strong IT Audit, internal control assessment, and consulting experience to provide contract risk and compliance services. Responsibilities: - Provide engagement or task management and select appropriate methodologies - Play substantive/lead role in client relationship and communication - Play substantive/lead role in attaining quality internal and external communication deliverables including technical content of reports, proposals, etc. - Demonstrate high level of understanding of client's business - Demonstrate strong knowledge industry or functional specialty - Play substantive/lead role and engagement planning, economics, and billing - Deliver services that meet Deloitte & Touche engagement leader specifications - Membership and visibility in professional & civic organizations - Participate in proposal development efforts - Evaluate, counsel, mentor, and provide feedback on performance of others - Assist in retention of professionals - Participate in training efforts - Play substantive role in enhancing relationships with internal resources - 9+ years prior financial, internal and/or IT auditing, and/or IT administration experience - Third party audit experience, including contractual review, royalty and licensing auditing, software licensing reviews, and/or contract compliance experience is a plus - Knowledge of main stream licensing terms and conditions e.g. per seat, per server, per CPU, per core, concurrent use, terminal servers, virtualization etc. - Experience with data analysis applications such as ACL, SQL, or Access is preferred - Working knowledge of Active Directory e.g. active/disabled accounts, account types, user account control, domains, password date changes etc. - Working knowledge of SMS or at least one alternative tool such as Altiris, LANDesk or Tivoli - Experience with operating systems (Windows, Unix/Linux), programming, and software discovery tools is preferred - Desire to research legacy and stay current with licensing terms and conditions and a willingness to build a working knowledge of the clients products - Working knowledge of Windows e.g. registry, group policy, add remove programs, snap ins, file system, mmc etc. - Optional: Ability to work through a VB script OR UNIX/Mac knowledge - Must have strong technical, analytical, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills - Strong Excel skills and written abilities - Experience in technology, media, and/or telecommunications industries is preferred - Willingness to travel up to 50% - BA/BS in accounting or management information systems - CPA, CIA, CISA is preferred About DeloitteDeloitte refers to one or more of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, a Swiss Verein, and its network of member firms, each of which is a legally separate and independent entity.
