Employee Benefit Plan - Audit Manager/Senior Manager

We are currently looking for an Employee Benefit Plan Audit Manager/Senior Manager who is committed to a career in public accounting with Whitley Penn.

Responsibilities:

• Audit employee benefit plans – defined contribution, defined benefit and health & welfare plans.

• Plan and manage multiple employee benefit plan audits (11-K and non 11-K filers) in both public and private companies in a various industries.

• Identify and implement new pronouncements to client situations

• Develop, train, and manage staff

• Review complex financial statements and disclosures and documentation of control systems

• Build client relationships – business development and marketing

• Ensure engagement profitability

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

• CPA

• 8+ years prior work experience, including public accounting

• Experience in auditing employee benefits plans

• Significant supervisory experience required
