Entry Level GL Staff

There is a lot of team playing and fun while getting your accounting work done.  Project AccountantJob Responsibilities: Complete the media project accounting process for assigned clients Work with Departments to maintain solid client relationships through accurate project billing, reconciling and reporting Ensure proper accounting based on various media and production contracts including review of monthly billings for accuracy Properly account for WIP items Complete the monthly reconciliation process on all media project campaigns Ensure project data reconciles to General Ledger Complete AR and AP research timely and accurate Assist with cash application of client invoices Assist in client and year end audits Complete project setup in various systems Obtain approval on draft billings and communicate approval to generate live billing for assigned clients Review all live billings for accuracy and client/agency compliance Prepare reporting to support billing pursuant to client specifications Distribute required copies of billing or reporting as appropriate Maintain proper internal controls and accounting policies in compliance with GAAP Maintain appropriate client document filing Assist in ad hoc accounting projects as needed Communicate work flow status which includes briefing management on the status of any outstanding issues, problems and/or concerns within the department Job Requirements: Minimum of 2-4 years general accounting experience including reconciliation skills Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance Knowledge and thorough understand of UA GAAP Strong problem solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work with diverse groups of people Strong proficiency in Word, Outlook and advanced level Excel skills Preferred – CPA track Preferred – Solomon and/or PRISM experience Please email a word resume to ccazayoux@acsysinc.com Acsys.
