Entry Level Position for Recent Business Graduates (FORBES 50) Company

The management team within this great organization is known for the great amount of on-the-job training.  This position will play a pivotal role in assisting in vessel documentation as well as other administrative duties as the company extends its business internationally. There are unlimited opportunities to grow in this position as we support an evolving portfolio of products from market leaders.

Duties and Responsibilities include:Work with traders to review billing transportation costs Review open event report to cross reference barge events Reassign unsold barges in internal system, create new contracts, update allocation of inventory Vendor payables (Barge freight and Product) Create vouchers and code invoices from move ID # in Neva  Invoicing customer product;  freight, storage, demurrage cleaning, (miscellaneous charges) Send out past due notices Keep up payable and receivable filing Purge contracts Assist with paper work for the Vessel Documentation process Overseeing the inventory of office and shipping supplies and purchasing, as required Interfacing with FedEx, UPS and other shippers on a timely basis Overseeing and ensuring that the shipping, receiving, record keeping and inventory levels are accurate and timely Keeping an accurate record of product on-hand, deliveries, shipments, customs paperwork, waybill and pack lists Managing customer expectation to ensure a high level of detailed work is completed

Requirements:Bachelors degree in Business ( Fin/ Int’l Bus/ MIS/ Mgt /Acctg./ EC /Mktg)  with International Business C lasses in their curriculum OR Associates degree is required (candidate in last year of Bachelors program) that wants 'real work' Experience0-1 year of working experience Experience with Microsoft Office products especially MS Word and MS Excel Professional demeanor and appearance High attention to detail Some that shows initiative and takes pride in their workOnly motivated TEAM oriented candidates need apply.
