ENTRY-LEVEL SAP TRAINING PROGRAM

On June 20th, 2008 we will start our 4-week Entry-Level Training SAP Program in our Wilmington, DE location.  This program is geared towards individuals starting their career in IT.  It covers the latest, in-demand technologies, including programming fundamentals and methodology, and SAP programming.

 

This program gives people the opportunity to deepen their skills and learn how, at Accenture Technology Solutions, they can use them to help deliver innovative solutions to Accenture clients.  During the training program, participants will gain exposure to new technologies and receive the latest training along with other IT specialists.  It is a great opportunity to learn and network.  The training is made up of four intense weeks of SAP Training.  The training uses the latest technology in training and combines computer based learning with group interaction.

The Entry-Level Training Program is our primary vehicle for selecting people for Programmer roles at Accenture Technology Solutions.  People who successfully complete this program may be offered a position as a Programmer with Accenture Technology Solutions.  So not only will you have the opportunity to strengthen IT skills and learn to apply them in a business environment, you could potentially gain a job at the end of it.

 

Basic Qualifications:

We look for people who are passionate about software programming and bring with them a solid understanding of object-oriented programming.  We require one or more training/school courses in programming/software development including training in at least one of the following: C, C++, Visual Basic, SAP or Java.

 

Professional Skill Requirements:

Strong interest in software programming

Ability to work as a team member

Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

Desire to work in an information systems environment

Strong oral and written communication skills

 

What we offer:

4 Weeks of paid training, absolutely free of charge.

Trainees will receive minimum wage while in training.

Training is Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM with one hour lunch break.

$500 bonus for successfully completing the 4 weeks of training.
