Equity Derivatives Analyst: Product Control

 

Provide support and control to the Equity Derivatives trading desk of a global investment bank.

 

Responsibilities:

 

· P&L reporting on a number of Equity and Convertible Bond strategies

· Proactive investigation and resolution of differences between the traders flash P&L and the Product Control P&L

· P&L attribution by risk factors

· Assure proper reporting of results via the month end close process

· Involvement in New Deal approval process

· Coordinate with Sales, Risk, Trade Support, Operations, IT

 

Requirements:

 

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Math

· 1-3 years relevant experience in middle office or control

· Previous Equity Derivatives experience required

· Ability to learn new products

· Strong, executable Excel spreadsheet skills. VBA a plus.

· Excellent verbal and written presentation skills

· Diligent and attentive to detail
