Executive Assistant with Accounting Experience

Job Description:

Accounting Assistant/Personal Assistant under direction of the CEO and CFO to perform low volume of accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliation. Will be responsible for journal entries, general ledger, and adjusting entries.  Responsible for calculating the performance for the companies multiple sales divisions and reporting the ROI generated by marketing initiatives on a monthly basis.

 

Accounting Assistant Responsibilities  

-Two years of solid accounting experience

-Ability to work in a busy office environment with track record of meeting deadlines

-Proficient in QuickBooks software, solid intermediate excel, and MS office proficiency.  Microsoft CRM experience a plus

-Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions

-Balances subsidiary accounts with reconciling entries

-Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries

-Balances general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries

-Maintains historical records by filing documents

-Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends

-Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills required


Personal Assistant Responsibilities

-Organize the CEO’s business environment confidentially and effectively

-Assist CEO with personal needs as required to maximize CEO’s work output

-Manage complex calendar and travel arrangements

-Handle multiple tasks amid changing priorities

-Strong written and oral communication skills

-Answer general questions, research answers and dispense appropriate information to employees and customers/vendors

-Respond in a timely manner to emails, voice mail, and written correspondence on behalf of the CEO

-Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers and employees
