Executive Compensation Specialist

We are seeking an Executive Compensation Specialist.

 

Duties include:The Executive Compensation Specialist will be responsible for the overall planning, implementing, communication and administration of all executive compensation policies, programs, practices and procedures. He/she will prepare all Board material for the Compensation and Pension Committee meetings and Proxy filings and will work closely with tax, finance and legal departments to ensure Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and other applicable regulatory audits as well as maintain current knowledge of regulatory trends.  The Executive Compensation Specialist will provide thought leadership in compensation with expertise in all aspects of compensation including, short and long term incentive plan design, retention plans and will work as a team member on global compensation projects.

 

Desired Qualifications:  Excellent communication, influencing skills and prior experience supporting Compensation Committee activities are essential. Ability to interact in a fast-paced, rapidly changing business environment is paramount. Both Consultants and Corporate based candidates will be considered, with a preference for those with advanced degrees. Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification is preferred. A minimum of 10 years of compensation and/or human resource experience is required. Experience in Executive Compensation Programs for multiple business units, Compensation Planning Methodologies, Survey Analysis/Data Collection is required. Previous experience in conducting formal presentations to Senior Management and managing/influencing overall business objectives is required. Experience in leading programmatic change with HR and line business is strongly preferred.
