Education:

· Bachelors degree in accounting

· Advanced degree in Taxation or J.D. or a CPA License

· Bachelor’s degree and a CPA license is required or an MS in taxation

 

Experience:

· Minimum of 3 Years in a Public Accounting environment.

· Experience in using tax preparation software

 

Skills:

· Computer Literacy, including strong excel skills

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to work within a team environment

· Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 

Responsibilities:

 

Tax Related Tasks:Preparation of individual tax returnsPreparation of Hedge Fund Investment Partnership returnsAdjusting journal entries and Federal tax entries leading to Preparation of corporate and partnership returnsSome review of individual, partnership, corporate, or hedge fund investment partnership returnsPreparation of gift, trust and estate tax returnsSome Preparation and filing of miscellaneous payroll & sales tax formsTax projections using BNA ProgramSome tax research using CCHCalculation of quarterly estimated tax payments for individuals and entities

 

· General Responsibilities

 

o  Review and maintain budgets.

o  Keep partners updated about the status of the engagement.

o  Maintain client relations.

o  Answer various questions from staff that is working on engagements.

o  Supervise client billing

o  Visit potential client sites for business proposals
